I seem to have survived the first semester at LCAD, I did pretty well actually got one B and an A minus in a class I was sure to get nothing more than a B.  I am exited to see what is coming up soon with this new semester, and a little worried too. While the first semester was challenging with the amount of information and task managing I had to do this semester seems like it will challenge me at another level. I am taking Character Design, Digital Painting,Figure Drawing for Animators, Sketchbook Ideation, Fundamentals of Game Art, and Game Art History. Go to art school they said, it will be fun they said... Of course I knew that going to LCAD and trying their game arts programs would not be a piece of cake. But I didn't expect it to be the whole cake. There is so much to do in so little time, how does anyone ever get anything done? I mean... I have not touched a video game in well over a moth, not to mention hanging out with friends. Really writing Journal entries on DA seems to be the only thing I have time for, but then again I only do it to distract me from working on finishing the first module of my art History Course. I just hope that everyone else is having as much trouble as me...

So it is almost two in the morning and I have to attend class early tomorrow morning, yet I can't sleep... I spent today putting together my entrance portfolio for college, and to be honest the prospect of me actually going to that school is at times too much. But I digress. I'll be finishing my entrance portfolio by tomorrow when I get my painting from last semester back and I can properly photograph them, and by Thursday the CD should be on its way to the LCAD admissions office. If I can make a good impression I may be able to influence the amount I get for any possible scholarships... AH! I'm just thinking about too many things tonight I
